Asus is giving its VivoMini line of compact desktop PCs a Kaby Lake upgrade.
New models include support for up to an Intel Core i7 processor, and thanks to improvements in Intel’s graphics technology in recent years, each model can support 4K displays. But some models also have NVIDIA graphics if you need a bit more power from your GPU.
Here’s an overview of the new models:
- VivoMini UN65U: 5.2″ x 5.2″ x 2″ PC with dual storage bays, Kaby Lake CPU, DDR4 memory, M.2 storage support, and 802.11ac WiFi
- VivoMini VM65: Up to a Core i7 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce 930M, USB 3.1, and 802.11ac
- VivoMini VC66: 5×5 mini STX motherboard (with support for upgradable CPUs), support for two 2.5 inch drives and an M.2 SSD, and HDMI, DIsplkayPort, and DVDI ports
There’s no information about the price or release date for any of the new VivoMini PCs yet.
