Asus was one of the first companies to launch a smartphone with an optical zoom lens. But the Asus Zenfone Zoom with its mechanical zoom lens wasn’t exactly a huge success.

Now Asus is back at it, this time with the a phone featuring 3 camera lenses which combine to let you take photos with up to 2.3x optical zoom or up to 12x digital + optical zoom.

There’s also support for bokeh-style depth effects.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom is coming in February.

The phone features a dual-lens 12MP camera and a second lens for the optical zoom, which works much the way the zoom lens on the Apple iPhone 7 Plus does.

Other camera-centric features include the ability to adjust depth effects in a photo, to blur the background and make the foreground pop, and a quick autofocus feature.

There’s also support for manual mode, allowing you to shoot in RAW, adjust shutter speed, and choose whether to use the 59mm or 25mm lens.

On the front of the camera is a 13MP wide-angle camera.

As for the non-camera features? The Zenfone 3 Zoom has a 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel AMOLED 500 nit display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and a 5,000 mAH battery that Asus says allows for up to 6.4 hours of 4K video recording time (or 42 days of standby time).

The phone measures just 7.99mm thick, which Asus says makes it the thinnest phone with a 5,000 mAh battery.
