Amazon’s Alexa Voice service may have debuted on the company’s smart home speaker, but Amazon is encouraging developers to integrate it into everything from robots to tablets.

And now you can also use Alexa to interact with Martian’s mVoice wristwatches. The company has released a software update that lets you use Amazon Skills for navigation, shopping, setting alarms, and more.

While the watches have list prices around $300, you can currently pick one up from Amazon for as little as $160.

Martian has been shipping watches since 2013, including models with classic watch designs but smart features such as the ability to display smartphones notifications on a small, secondary display.

The mVoice line was introduced earlier this year with a built-in noise canceling microphone and a speaker to let you make phone calls, compose text messages, or generally communicate with your phone by speaking to the watch.

The addition of Alexa support brings way more features thanks to Alexa’s ecosystem of around 5,000 skills from Amazon and third-party developers. For example, you can get weather forecasts, search the web, or control smart home products including lights, locks, and cameras.

While the Martian mVoice isn’t the first watch to support Alexa skills, it may be one of the most affordable options currently available.
