Xiaomi is updating its Mi Box line of media streaming devices with two new models. As the names suggest, the new Mi Box 3c and Mi Box 3s are modest upgrades to the Mi Box 3 that launched earlier this year… but both have an updated remote control and new software that’s said to examine your viewing habits and suggest content you might enjoy.

It’s unlikely that AI software would be very helpful outside of China, but it’s also not clear if Xiaomi has any plans to sell either of these new TV boxes outside of its home country.

Xiaomi does sell a version of the Mi Box with Android TV software in the United States.

The Mi Box 3c features an Amlogic S905 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a list price of 199 yuan, or about $29. The Mi Box 3s is a 299 yuan ($43) model with an Amlogic S905X processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage.

Both models support 4K output, but only the 3s model supports HDR content. The Mi 3c also comes with a basic infrared remote, while the Mi 3s has a Mi Touch IR remote with a touch-sensitive control area near the top.

Both TV boxes have 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and HDMI 2.0, AV, and USB 2.0 ports.
