The LeEco Pro3 has the specs of a high-end smartphone, but the price of a mid-range model. The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and it has a list price of $399.

LeEco is bringing the phone to America starting today… and as part of a flash sale, the company is offering an even better price.

A limited number of people will be able to snag the phone for $299 at LeMall.com starting at 10:00AM Pacific/1:00PM Eastern today. But there are a few things you should know before pulling out your wallet.

First of all, not everyone will be able to get the sale pricing. Second, the phone has pretty great specs for the price, but it also has what some folks may consider drawbacks:

  • It has a 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display at a time when many other phones have 2560 x 1440 screens.
  • There’s no SD card slot or headphone jack.
  • The software is based on Android 6.0, but features LeEco’s custom user interface with tight integration into the company’s own apps and services.

If you’re cool with the fact that LeEco is selling phones at low prices as a way to build a software and hardware ecosystem in the United States the same way it has in China, then this is a pretty good deal. If not, you might want to consider a OnePlus 3 or ZTE Axon 7.

The LeEco Pro3 features a USB Type-C port, a 4,070 mAh battery, Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support, 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, an infrared port, and a fingerprint sensor on the back.

LeEco’s S3 smartphone with a Snapdragon 652 processor also goes on sale today. It has a list price of $249, but some people will be able to get one for $149 during today’s flash sale.

The company will also be offering deep discounts on its 43 inch, 55 inch, 65 inch, and 85 inch smart TVs today at the LeMall.com web store and there are also deals on accessories including Bluetooth headphones and speakers and portable power packs.
