The LeEco Le S3 is a smartphone with a 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display and a $249 price tag. But at first glance, you could easily mistake it for LeEco’s $399 Le Pro 3. The two phones have very similar designs, and share some specs.
But the cheaper model has a less powerful processor, less memory and storage, and a smaller battery.
It still has pretty powerful hardware for a $249 phone though… and you might not even need to pay that much for the phone. For a limited time, LeEco is offering a $100 rebate, bringing the price down to just $149Â during a November 2nd flash sale (although the company isn’t guaranteeing that everyone will be able to get the rebate at that time).
The Le S3 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
It has a 16MP rear camera with 4K video recording support, and an 8MP front camera.
Like the Le Pro3, this phone has a USB Type-C port, and no dedicated headphone jack. But both phones do come with adapters that you can use to plug in with a 3.5mm plug.
Other features include 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, and dual SIM card slots (one supports LTE and the other only supports GSM networks.
The Le S3 has an aluminum unibody design and comes in gold, grey, or pink color options.
