Lenovo appears to have a new 2-in-1 tablet on the way, and it seems to be designed to fill the same niche as the Acer Switch Alpha 12 I reviewed recently: folks looking for a computer with Microsoft Surface-like hardware, but a lower price tag.

The new Lenovo Miix 510 features a 12.2 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel IPS display, a detachable keyboard, and support for a digital pen with 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.

While Lenovo hasn’t announced the US pricing or launch date for the Miix 510 yet, WinFuture notes that it’s showing up at the websites for multiple European stores. It looks like the 2-in-1 tablet will sell for about €730 and up in Europe. That’d be about $814 in US dollars, but the price may vary depending on the market.

Even if the US price is over $800, that’s still less than the list price for an entry-level Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which sells for $899 and up. And Microsoft charges an extra $130 for a keyboard cover. It looks like Lenovo’s tablet comes with both a keyboard and a pen.

The Miix 510 will be available with Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 Skylake processor options, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB to 512GB of solid state storage.

Each model has 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth, a 39 Wh battery, and a USB Type-C connector. Some models will also have 4G LTE support.
