Gole1 mini PC giveaway

07/30/2016 at 12:00 PM by Brad Linder Leave a Comment

The Gole1 mini PC is one of the oddest devices I’ve reviewed in recent years: it’s either a tiny desktop computer with a touchscreen and a battery, or a chunky handheld tablet that can also be used like a dekstop, depending on how you look at it.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re supposed to use it for or why you wouldn’t use a different device that’s better suited for that specific task… but for some reason I was still kind of charmed by the review unit Gole sent me to test.

Priced at $99 and up (or $129 and up for the model that you should buy if you want one), the Gole1 is cheap enough to justify buying even if you’re not sure what you’ll do with it though.

But you know what’s cheaper than $99? Free. Now that I’m done reviewing this mini PC, it’s time to give away the demo unit to a reader!

Update: This contest has now ended. Congratulations to our winner, nwhenry!

Here’s the not-so-fine print:

  • We’re giving away a lightly used Gole1 mini PC with an 1,800 mAh battery, Atom x5 Cherry Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and dual operating systems (Android 5.1 and Windows 10).

  • Make sure you use a valid email address, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ account when you login to leave your comment or we may not be able to contact you.
  • Please leave only one comment.

Thanks again to Gole for providing us with a Gole1 mini PC for our review and for this giveaway!

Not a bad small device. Could use it instead of a remix mini in my RV as a PC/ clunky tab! Add me to the pile.

As soon as I saw the article about it I was instantly intrigued. Would love to use it as an around the house device/smart home hub.

I think it would be a fun little unit for my son to use for his homework and minecraft.
