Internet music provider Deezer has a library of more than 40 million songs and 40 thousand podcasts that are available for streaming to a phone, tablet, PC, or some stereo systems. But while Deezer has been available in around 180 countries, the service wasn’t widely available in the US… until today.
Deezer is now available in the United States for $10 per month… which is the same price as rivals Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Music, Napster, and others.
Deezer supports a wide range of platforms. The company has mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows devices, desktop apps for Windows and macOS, a web player,  and support for some other platforms including smart TVs, connected speakers, and in-car systems.
The service has all the usual features including the ability to stream songs on demand without hearing ads, create and share playlists, or listen to mixes.
Deezer also includes live radio streams in the Channels section, a personalized mix called “FLOW,” which is based on your listening habits, lyrics for many tracks, and support for downloading tracks for offline listening.
You can sign up for a 30-day free trial using just about any supported device. At the end of the trial you’ll be billed $10 per month if you don’t cancel the service.
Previously Deezer was available in the US exclusively for Cricket Wireless subscribers or folks with supported wireless speakers from Sonos or Bose… although it’s worth noting that Deezer does still offer discounted subscription options for Cricket Wireless and Bose customers.
