The Asus Zenbook Flip UX360CA is a 13 inch notebook that measures just over half an inch thick and which weighs about 2.9 pounds. It also has a touchscreen display and a 360 degree hinge, which allows you to use this Windows 10 notebook like a tablet.
Asus started taking orders for the Zenbook Flip UX360CA a few weeks ago, but the company sent out a press release this morning announcing the general availability of the convertible notebook.
A number of US retailers are now selling a model with 256GB of storage for $699. You can also get a 512GB model for $799.
Both versions feature 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS displays, Intel Core M3-6Y30 Skylake processors, 8GB of RAM, 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1.
Other features include two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C connector, a micro HDMI port, and an SD card reader and headset jack.
The laptop has a 54 Wh battery, 1.6 watt stereo speakers, and a digital array microphone.
According to the Asus website, the company may also offer models with up to a Core M7-6Y75 processor, up to a 3200 x 1800 pixel display, and as little as 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage… although there’s no word on whether any of those configurations will be available in the US anytime soon.
For now, the Zenbook Flip UX360CA is priced rather competitively with the Asus Zenbook UX305CA line of non-convertible notebooks.
