There’s no shortage of cheap mini-desktop computers with Intel Atom x5 processors from Chinese device makers. There aren’t as many that feature the more powerful Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor… but now there’s one more than there used to be.
Beelink has launched a mini PC called the Beelink BT7. It features one of the most powerful Atom chips to date (for what that’s worth, when talking about low-power chips), 4GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from 64GBÂ Â to 320GB.
The Beelink BT7Â is produced in China, but you can have it shipped internationally if you order from AliExpress, Gearbest, or other online stores. Prices run between about $170 and $250, depending on the configuration.
Each model measures about 4.7″ x 4.7″ 0.9″ and features an aluminum case. The only real difference between the models is the storage: Beelink offers versions with 64GB, 128GB, and 320GB of solid state storage.
Other specs include 4GB of DDR3-1600 RAM, Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, three USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5mm headset jack and an HDMI port.
The computer ships with Windows 10 Home.
