MeegoPad was one of the first companies to offer a PC Stick capable of running Windows software (even if it shipped with an unlicensed copy of Windows). Now there’s no shortage of tiny, affordable Windows 10 PCs… but MeegoPad seems to think there’s room for a few more.
The company is launching three new tiny computers with Windows 10 software and Intel Atom Cherry Trail chips. One is a PC-on-a-stick, and the other two are little computers that are small enough to hold in one hand.
While I haven’t seen retail pricing for these models yet, they’re all available for bulk purchase from Alibaba.
This little box is notable for a few reasons. First, it’s super-slim and barely seems large enough to house its full-sized Ethernet jack.
Second, in addition to full-sized USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port, the MeegoPad T09 has a USB Type-C port for power or another display.
Pictures of this box started making the rounds in December, but now WinFuture.de has published additional details. The site reports that the system will be available with a choice of Atom x5-Z8300 or X5-Z8500 processors.
The MeegoPad T09 also has a headphone jack and microSD card slot, and it’s reportedly being positioned as a media-center device.
Wholesale prices are about $80 per unit for orders of 10 or more, or $75 per unit for orders of 100 or more.
This model, on the other hand, is more of desktop PC, with four USB ports, separate mic and headphone jacks, a microSD card reader, HDMI, and Ethernet jacks.
This model measures about 4.1″ x 4.1″ x 1″, making it about the size of an Intel NUC unit. It can be configured with 32GB to 128GB of storage, 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and WiFi and Bluetooth. It has three USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 port.
Wholesale prices start at $70 per unit for orders of 10 or more (or $65 per unit when you order 100 or more).
MeegoPad T05 Pro
The latest MeegoPad PC Stick features an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor, 32GB of eMMC storage, and either 2GB or 4GB of RAM.
The stick has two full-sized USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card reader, and a micro USB port for power. There also appears to be a headphone jack and plenty of ventilation, suggesting that the stick probably has a fan under the hood.
This model is listed at Alibaba for $65 per unit for orders of 10 or more, with a $2 per unit discount for orders of 100 or more.
