Slap a Samsung phone in the company’s Gear VR headset and you’ve got yourself a virtual reality device for playing games, watching movies, or exploring virtual environments. But what if you want to do something a little more mundane… like web surfing.

You could take off the headset and start using your phone the old fashioned way. But now Samsung has introduced another option: Samsung Internet for Gear VR is a web browser that works with the virtual reality headset.

The browser has a Gaze Mode that lets you choose menus by looking at them. You can also enter text using either voice recognition or an on-screen keyboard.

It also supports basic browser features including bookmarks and tabs, and the browser lets you stream 360-degree and 3D videos from web sites.

Samsung says Internet for Gear VR Beta will be available for download from the Oculus Store starting December 2nd, and it should work with the Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 4, and Note 5.
