Grab a Google Nexus 6 for $260, Nexus 5X for $299

11/27/2015 at 7:26 AM by Brad Linder 1 Comment

In the market for a new phone? Like Nexus phones that run stock Android software and get their updates directly from Google? Now’s a pretty good time to snag a recent model at a deep discount.

While supplies last, Amazon is selling the 2014 Nexus 6 with 64GB of storage for $260. Meanwhile the Google Store and B&H are selling the 2015 Nexus 5X for $299 and up.

The Google Store also has big discounts on the Nexus 9 tablet and recent Chromecast devices, among other things.

The Nexus 6 features a 6 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel AMOLED display, a 3220 mAh battery, a Qualcomm Snpadragon 805 processor, and 3GB of RAM. It sold for $649 when it launched a year ago. Now you can snag one for $260.

The Nexus 5X has a 5.2 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 2,700 mAh battery and up to 32GB of storage.

While the 5.2 inch model doesn’t always feel super-fast, it gets pretty great battery life, includes one of the best smartphone cameras available, and it’s one of the first phones with a Nexus Imprint fingerprint sensor which makes it easy to unlock the device and log into apps almost instantly.

A Nexus 5X with 16GB of storage is selling for $299, while a 32GB model is going for $349.

Looking for a deal on something else Google-centric? The Google Store is offering the Nexus 9 tablet for $199 and up ($200 off) and offering a 2-for-$50 deal on the Chromecast and Chromecast Audio. You can mix-and-match, which means you can grab one of each, two audio models, or whatever.

The LG Watch Urbane smartwatch with Android Wear is also available for $70 off, and Google is offering select Chromebooks for up to $50 off.

Smart home products are also on sale: Nest Cam is also $30 off, and if you buy a Nest Thermostat you’ll get $50 in Google Play Store credit.
