  1. In 2014, Microsoft offered “unlimited” OneDrive storage to its paying
Office 365 customers. Recently, MS discontinued the “unlimited” feature,
and new paying Office 365 accounts only get 1 TB. At some point, current
Office 365 customers will lose their data > 1 TB, MS isn’t planning on
grandfathering, especially not those who took MS up on its “unlimited”
offer and stored 74 TB on OneDrive.

I wonder how long Amazon will offer “unlimited” storage.

In retrospect, MS’ OneDrive offering wasn’t (and still isn’t) ready for
prime time anyway. It’s web interface was buggy, crashed often,
would unexpectedly hang while uploading. Its redeeming feature was
its “unlimited” storage, but now that’s gone…
