Lenovo is expanding its Yoga line of tablets to include a model with a desktop PC-sized screen. In fact, the new Lenovo Yoga Home 900Â is basically an all-in-one desktop with a 27 inch display. But the computer also has a battery which lets you use it for up to 3 hours at a time when it’s not plugged in.
That lets you pick up the Yoga Home 900 and carry it around the house, place it flat on a table to play games or view documents, or sit with it on your lap and do… whatever it is you’d do with a heavy 27 inch tablet on your lap.
The Yoga Home 900 is available from Best Buy for $1500.
The computer has a 1920 x 1080 pixel display, an Intel Core i5-5200U Broadwell processor, NVIDIA GeForce 940 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of solid state storage.
It has three USB 3.0 ports, a 2MP camera, an SDXC card slot, stereo 2.5 watt speakers, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth, and the system comes with a wireless mouse and keyboard.
There’s also an HDMI port, a headset jack, and the system supports Gigabit Ethernet connection with a USB adapter. On the back of the computer you’ll find a kickstand that lets you prop it up for use as a desktop monitor. There are power and volume buttons in the side, much like the ones you’d find on a smaller tablet.
The Yoga 900 Home measures about 26.3″ 16.1″ x 0.8″ and weighs 16.6 pounds.

As a rule for desktop computers, I wouldn’t buy anything 27″ or higher unless it was 2560×1440 or higher.
Furthermore, a touchscreen tablet is going to have me sitting even a few inches closer. 1920×1080 is sounding pretty terrible.
Fuer den Preis sollte es besser auch einen richtig guten Digitizer eingebaut haben…
Dann gaeb’s vielleicht ne menge Kaeufer.
