Microsoft’s holding an event on October 6th, where the company is expected to unveil its next-gen Surface Pro tablet and at least two new Lumia smartphones.
One other thing we could see at the event? A second-gen Microsoft Band. And thanks to Spanish website Microsoft Insider, now we have an idea of what it could look like.
The leaked pictures show a wristband with a curved color display, a few physical buttons on the side, and a metallic finish around the display area.
Like the original Microsoft Band, the new model is expected to feature motion sensors for fitness tracking. It also seems to have a heart rate sensor which will help you keep track of your pulse while you exercise.
The most obvious change is that the Band 2’s curved display should make the new model a little more comfortable to wear on your wrist: the original Microsoft Band has a flat 1.3 inch, 320 x 106 pixel display.
