Google is expected to officially introduced the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones in a few days, and it looks like at least one of those phones should work with all major US wireless carriers, including Verizon.
A phone called the LG H-790, which is almost certainly the Nexus 5X just passed through the FCC website with support for GSM and CDMA networks.
Documents show the phone also supports 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, support for WiFI direct and mobile hotspot features, and a non-removable battery.
The FCC doesn’t provide many more details, but rumor has it that the phone will have a 5.2 inch, 1920 x 1080Â pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a USB Type-C connector, and at least 2GB of RAM (and possibly more).
The phone will be one of the first to ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow software.
In addition to the Nexus 5X, Google is expected to launch a 5.7 inch phone built by Huawei which is called the Nexus 6P. That model will likely have a 2560 x 1440 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it supports the same wireless network bands as the smaller, LG-built model.

If the price is right, I’d buy it in a heartbeat, especially since it could work on Verizon.
Is it too difficult to report if there will be an SDCard slot or not. No removable storage is a deal killer for many of us.
Cool. The phone options on Verizon right now are pretty pathetic and needs improvement.
Most of our customers (I work for a Verizon franchise) get locked in to the Apple/Samsung dichotomy. Someone even asks for a Motorola device of some sort and it’s a breath of fresh air. It’s a shame the one person who ordered a Nexus 6 had some… issues functioning in polite society.
As for this, add wireless charging and SD card support and I’ll take a dozen. I’ve already decided to switch to Android after getting a G4 from work and I’m happy with it, although I’m leaning towards the new Moto X because of the SD card slot and all-carrier compatibility.
Of the current phones I’d lean toward the G4. But I’d love to have more choice.
