Tablet maker E Fun has been selling low-cost Android and Windows tablets for a few years, and now the company is introducing the first models with built-in support for 4G LTE.
The Nextbook Ares Al and Nextbook Ares 10L both support Verizon’s 4G network.
The Nextbook Ares 8L features and 8 inch screen and a $144 price tag if you buy the tablet outright from Walmart. Or you can pay $4.88 per month for the 8 inch tablet if you sign up for a 2-year contract.
E Fun’s Nextbook Ares 10L has a 10 inch screen and it’s priced at $193 (or $9.88 per month with a contract). this model also comes with a detachable keyboard cover.
Both tablets feature Intel Z3735G Atom Bay Trail processors, 1280 x 800 pixel IPS displays, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD card slots for up to 64GB of removable storage, and Android 5.0 Lollipop software.
Don’t need the built-in 4G? You can save some money by picking up WiFi-only versions of these tablets: Walmart sells a WiFi-only Nextbook Ares 8 for $78.
