The Egreat i6 is a small computer with Windows 8.1 with Bing software, an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, HDMI and VGA ports, and dual-band WiFi.

Geekbuying sells the Egreat i6 for about $140, but the store provided us with a demo unit to review. While it has a few odd software quirks, it offers pretty decent performance for a small, cheap, low-power computer.

But you might not need to spend $140 to get one of these little computers… because we’re giving away our review unit for free.

This contest is for a slightly used Egreat i6. It has 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, three USB ports, a microSD card slot, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and 10/100 Ethernet.

The best thing about this little computer may be its WiFi performance: It has an adjustable antenna and had no problem staying connected to my home network even when used in an office that’s two floors above our WiFi router. Sadly that’s not something I can say about some other mini PCs I’ve tested.

On the other hand, this isn’t a super-computer. It has a relatively slow processor that’s designed for tablets and low-power laptops. While you can use the Egreat i6 to watch HD videos, surf the web, or perform basic tasks, it might not be powerful enough for some PC games or for heavy-duty multitasking.

You can enter our contest to win a free Egreat i6 by following the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below.

There are a few rules to keep in mind though: This contest is only open to residents of the continental United States or individuals with a valid US shipping address. If you write for Liliputing or are a close friend or family member of someone who does, you are not eligible to win this contest. And if you’ve won another Liliputing contest in the past 60 days, you’re out of luck as well.

  1. I’m glad you’re giving away an Egreat, since the previous Egood and Ealright were pretty lackluster.

  8. Chances to win are low, but hey, still need to try as I can make use of it

  9. That small pc is great for a media center!! It should be perfect on my tv 🙂

  10. Running Kodi is the probably the best use for this box. If you used Kodi on a full Linux distribution, then you could jump out to a desktop for browsing or email if needed. One of the small RF/Bluetooth keyboards would be a nice addition.

  11. (said in my best Tony the Tiger) It’s e grrrrreat! I’ll show myself out now.

  12. Seems like a short time ago, the race was to steadily increase RAM and disk capacity. Interesting how tablets, notebooks, and now desktops are designed to be useful with relatively small amounts of both. It raises memories of early PCs which sported 4k of RAM and no hard disk, but people found uses for them! Thanks Brad!

  13. I’d love to win this computer to use as a “student” computer in my classroom. With the limited usage they have (research, checking their grades, G-Docs), it would be perfect. Thanks for the giveaway!

  14. Cool giveaway, thanks Brad. Looking to replace our family home computer, and for the limited use my kids and wife make from that, this could definitely work.

  15. I’d be happy to win this small box… Does borderlinx count as a valid US shipping address?

  16. Always on the look out for yet another mini PC to sit round the back of my TV, one day I WILL FIND the perfect Kodi box!

  17. I really gave up on this mini pc’s I started looking into gigabyte brix for small pc’s but I still want to find one of these that really does what I want. I hope this unit will.

  18. Hoping for beginners luck! Btw, also HP 260 G1 seems very interesting. Any chance to get that into Brad’s test bench soon?
