Tired of thin and light laptops with just 4GB of RAM? There are a handful of options with 8GB or more. And then there’s the Eurocom Armadillo 2 ultrabook which can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM.

The Armadillo 2 features a 14 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, an Intel Core i5 Broadwell processor, and a backlit keyboard. The laptop has a 44.6 Wh battery which is removable (a rarity for an ultrabook), and the mobile computer measures 13.4″ x 9.4″ x 0.8″ and weighs about 4 pounds.

Eurocom sells a basic model with 8GB of RAM ad a 500GB hard drive (but no operating system) for $908. You can configure the laptop with up to 32GB of RAM, up to 1TB of hard drive or solid state storage, an OS, and other options.

Just note that doubling the memory to 16GB will add at least $136 to the price of the computer. Want 32GB? That’ll be an extra $1118.

At least it’s an option.

  1. “Want 32GB? That’ll be an extra $1118?” Is this the only option for an ultrabook with 32gb of ram? What about those razor blade ultrabooks?
