The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is a smartphone with a 5.7 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

The company first introduced the Mi Note Pro in January, but it will finally be available for pre-order starting May 6th… at least for folks living in China. There’s no word on if or when the phone will be available in other markets.

Xiaomi’s new phone features a 3,000 mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, and a 4MP front-facing camera. It’s a dual SIM phone with support for 4G LTE networks and the handset runs Android 5.0 with Xiaomi’s MIUI user interface.

The Mi Note Pro is probably the most powerful phone from Xiaomi to date. But it’s also the most expensive. It’ll sell for 3,299 yuan, or about $533.

That’s still cheaper than the price of an unlocked iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S6, or HTC One M9. But it’s a relatively high price for a phone from a company that’s often known for releasing hardware with high-end specs at mid-range prices.

Xiaomi also offers a model with more modest specs called the Mi Note. It has a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 1080p display, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage and sells for about $370.

  1. again,,,wgaff about China,,why not sell to the USA once in a while.

    1. Can’t make money. Xiaomi profits are base on software as a service like Amazon which are localize to China and Asia.

    1. They ditched the pen to make a device thinner than the iPhone 6 (apparently thin devices are popular in China)

      1. Man, only in China. They make a Note competitor with a hires display, then throw that potential all away by tossing the stylus – because they want to be like an iPhone. And don’t forget the big downside, Xiaomi’s in-your-face MIUI overlay.

        1. I have to agree with you on MIUI, but I was never a fan of the stylus. Also, I don’t believe it is to be like an iPhone. The market for smartphones in China usually consist of super thin phones with almost no bezel (although most of their specs are low compared to here in the US, but that’s more of a Qualcomm vs Mediatek thing).
