The Dell Venue 10 7000 is an Android tablet with premium specs (and a premium price tag. It sports a 10.5 inch, 2560 x 1600 pixel OLED display, an Intel Atom Z3580 Moorefield processor, and an Intel RealSense Snapshot depth-sensing camera.

Dell unveiled the tablet a few weeks ago, and now it’s ready for purchase. The Dell Venue 10 7000 is available from Dell.com for $499 and up.

The base price gets you a tablet with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a microSD card slot and a micro USB port. The tablet runs Android 5.0 Lollipop software.

Dell says you should get up to 15 hours of battery life, thanks to the 7,000 mAh battery tucked into the big cylinder on one side of the tablet.

Pay $629 and you also get a keyboard dock. For an extra $50 you get a model with 32GB of storage.

Dell is positioning the Venue 10 7000 as a business-friendly tablet with support for the Android for Work platform which lets you maintain separate personal and professional profiles on the same device. This summer Dell will also offer Office for Android on the tablet (as well as on the 8 inch Dell Venue 8 7000).
