  1. It looks like the cheapest UbuTab model is $329.

    UbuTab Basic
10.1″ HD Screen (1920×1200) · 64GB Flash Storage · No additional drive space · Android or Ubuntu OS · 3 Year Warranty · Shipping in April · $329

That’s a good price, even if it’s not the thinnest or prettiest tablet in the world. I agree with you though. I am not throwing money at a product until I see something beyond a concept. I hope you’ll do a review if the product actually materializes.

  2. Gestures could be useful, it bothers me that in the middle of winter I have to take off my gloves to use my moto 360 for anything more than voice commands, and in doing so use two hands.

    1. Can’t you get touch enabled gloves? I think even dollar stores have those.

      1. touch enabled leather gloves? Gotta be good gloves before they’re touchscreen enabled. Anyway doesn’t really solve the problem that you need hands to do a fair number of things with android wear.

        1. Yeah I agree, I have seen some really nice touch-enabled leather gloves though, but they’re hard to find and are a lot more expensive than normal leather gloves. Also, even with a touch-enabled glove, it’s still difficult to use. Probably even harder on a watch.
