Lenovo is entering the pico projector space with a tiny model that’s designed to work with phones or tablets running Android 4.3 or later.
The Lenovo Pocket Projector will be available globally in May for $249.
The little projector measures just 4.1″ x 3.9″ x 1″ and weighs less than 6 ounces. It has a lens that’s on an arm that you can rotate up to 90 degrees, letting you project content onto a wall, screen, or ceiling.
Just don’t expect stellar brightness or resolution. The Lenovo Pocket Projector has an 854 x 480 pixel screen resolution and a 50 lumen bulb. It’ll work reasonably well in a dark or dimly lit space, but you might have to pull the window blinds to use the projector in some rooms.
Lenovo’s little projector also has built-in speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, a battery for up to 2.5 hours of use when unplugged, and a direction-pad on top of the unit which acts as a controller.
You can load up presentations, videos, or other files on a microSD card or pair the projector with a phone to use it as a Miracast display for streaming content from your mobile device.
what for a so low resolution?
Comes with a free ad overlay function, too!
Everything about this projector is ugly. https://www.cyberiapc.com/vgg/pics/nintendo_gameboy2.jpg (even the gameboy had a better design)
Nothing superfishy either?
When are they going to start selling pico projectors with decent resolution?
Nothing fishy here…
