If you’re in the market for a small but fast Android tablet, it’s still hard to beat the 2013 Google Nexus 7. Sure, Google doesn’t sell the tablet anymore, but you can often find new or refurbished models for well under list price.
Right now Woot has the tablet for $170.
Want something even cheaper? Newegg is selling the Hisense Sero 7 Pro for just $56 after rebate. It’s an older tablet with a slower processor. But it’s less than a third of the price.

Lenovo webpage said the Q190 was $149 with coupon code, but website wouldn’t accept it (said it was no longer available), tried online chat, they said something like the coupon had been used it maximum allowed times. Then, how about updating the webpage to show the offer’s no longer available?
It’s an older tablet…I was going to clear it…
sorry! Still stoked from the star wars news.
I bought the Hisense Sero 7 Pro based on discussions on this site and I love it. Not fast enough for the latest games but I use it everyday for watching videos, listening to music, and social media/email. Highly recommended.
I previously bought refurb’d Hisense Sero 7 Pro with rebates. They are really easily rooted and ROM’d with KitKat 4.4.4 and overclocked to 1.5GHz (for an AnTuTu score over 21,500). They have most of the desireable features including GPS and are well made. $56 is a deal for sure.
