Google’s Chrome Remote Desktop app for the Chrome web browser lets you remote control another PC with the browser (and app) running. But up until recently you’ve only been able to use it to remote control a Windows or Mac computer.
Now you can remotely login into a Chromebook as well.
You’ve always been able to use a Chromebook to connect to a different computer. What’s new is that now you can connect to a Chromebook from another Chromebook… or Mac… or Windows PC… or mobile device with the Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android or iOS.
At launch you’ll need a Chromebook or Chromebox running the Chrome OS dev channel to enable remote logins. But many features like this that make their way to the dev channel first eventually graduate to the beta and stable channels.
