Toshiba’s latest Android device is a bit bigger than most phones or tablets.
The Toshiba Shared Board TT301 has a 24 inch full HD multi-touch display, and it’s designed for use in classrooms, businesses, or other environments where you might want to run touchscreen applications that can be used by an individual or by several people at once.
At this point, it looks like the Shared Board TT301 is available exclusively in Japan. But it’s not the first large-screened Android device we’ve seen. HP and Acer offer all-in-one desktops that run Android, for instance.
Toshiba’s model features a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFI, Bluetooth, and an IR remote control. It has a speaker and mic, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and has a 1920 x 1080 pixel display with support for 10-point multitouch input.
The system also has a dual-window mode that lets you run 2 apps at the same time.
There’s also an HDMI input which lets you use the system as a display for a computer running Windows or another operating system, and it supports Miracast wireless display technology so you can beam content from a phone or other device to the Shared Board.

That looks badass. I bet it’s not cheap, though.
I certainly hope it’s bigger than their phones.
