HP has a new business-friendly tablet in the works. An unannounced tablet called the HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1 showed up at the FCCÂ this week, and a glance at a support document on the HP website confirms that there is a tablet by that name… and that it’s different from the company’s other 10 inch “Pro” tablets such as the HP Pro x2 612.
There aren’t many details about the new HP Pro Tablet 10, but the name suggests it’ll have a 10 inch screen, and test results suggest it’s manufactured by Foxconn and will feature 802.11b/g/n dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. The tablet will also have a 7700mAh battery.
HP will likely offer a WiFi-only model as well as a 3G version with a Huawei WWAN module for connecting to GSM/WCDMAÂ networks.
There’s no word on the price, release date, or even if we’re looking at a Windows or Android tablet at this point.
