The Asus ZenWatch is a smartwatch with Google’s Android Wear software, custom watch faces from Asus, and a design that sort of straddles the line between square and round.

Asus unveiled the ZenWatch in September, and now the company plans to begin selling it in the United States. It should be available starting November 9th for $199.

The watch features a square, 320 x 320 pixel display but the watch face has rounded edges which makes the ZenWatch look a bit like the upcoming Apple Watch.

It has a 1.63 inch, 320 x 320 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. The ZenWatch features Bluetooth 4.0, a 9-axis sensor, and a heart rate monitor.

You can pair the watch with an Android phone to receive notifications on your wrist, search the web, set reminders, or interact with other apps.

Asus also offers a ZenUI Wellness app for fitness-tracking features as well as software that lets you unlock your phone or tablet with your watch, find your phone by double-tapping the watch, or use your watch as a remote trigger for your phone’s camera, among other things.

  1. I don’t know I’d still think Moto 360 is the best looking phone.
