The Zotac ZBOX PI320 pico is a desktop computer that’s about the size of a smartphone. It measures 4.6″ x 2.6″ x 0.8″ but the little machine has room for 3 USB ports, HDMI output, and an Ethernet jack, among other things.
It also comes with Windows 8.1 pre-loaded.
The ZBOX PI320 pico sells for $200, but you can win one for free.
Zotac sent me a demo unit to review, and now that I’m finished testing the little computer it’s time for a giveaway.
I’ve been pretty impressed with this computer. It’s not a very powerful machine: it has an Intel Atom Z3735F Bay Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. But it’s fast enough for basic Windows computing tasks and it could make an interesting option if you’re looking for a home media PC for streaming internet video or a general purpose desktop for light-duty tasks.
Basically what Zotac did with the PI320 was take the guts of a cheap Windows tablet and stick them in a cheap, small, and fanless desktop case. That’s not a bad thing: cheap Windows tablets have come a long way in the past few years, and the latest models are energy efficient and surprisingly powerful.
Alright, enough about the device. Here’s how to win:

Here’s the not-so-fine print:
- This contest is open to residents of the continental United States.
- We’ll select a winner at random.
- That person has 48 hours to respond after they’ve been notified. We’ll pick a new name if we don’t hear anything within that time.
- Make sure to use a valid email address, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ account when you login to leave your comment so I have a way to let you know if your name has been chosen.
- Please leave only one comment.

Thanks again to Zotac for providing us with a ZBOX PI320 pico review unit!
Update: Congratulations to our winner, Grant Murray!
Sounds like a good moble HTPC
Seems like there’s a giveaway every week now!
Amazing! Liliputing is getting funner and funner as these devices get stronger and stronger. Thanks for the chance.
I wonder how well folding@home would run on this.
This will make a great living room pc, add xbmc and external hard drive, and this will be perfect!
Good luck to everyone on this awesome little gadget!
I’ll be happy to take it off your hands!
This would be great to replace my aging HTPC.
Thanks for the review on another interesting option for small computing. Thanks also for throwing my name in the hat!
Dan F.
Brad, it is great you give these away. Still hoping to build a home theater while putting the last of three through college, so here’s hoping. Thanks.
This thing seems very useful in some ways. Thanks.
Can’t wait to try it out
Looks pretty decent for what it is … wonder if you can get the 2gb stick out to upgrade it … could be a fun project trying to max this little atom out!!!!!!
Interesting little device. Would love to be able to try it out myself!
choose me!
This would make a nice replacement for my current server.
My husband would LOVE this! Thanks for the chance!
Thank You Zotac and Liliputing!
Looks like it’d be a good emulation platform.
This would be a godsend for me as my new TV doesn’t play nice with my PC/Media Streamer/NAS (all in one!) box.
Thanks Liliputing!
How fast is XBMC as compared to quad core android boxes like MiniX Neo X8 ?
https://www.amazon.com/MINIX-NEO-X8H-Bluetoorh-Tronsmart/dp/B00KL60LSE/ref=sr_1_22?ie=UTF8&qid=1414947091&sr=8-22&keywords=android+4k+box
Can’t wait to see whats coming in this new wave of small micro PC’s!!! I just bought my first Raspberry Pi and Def see myself buying 2 more for cloud server and Media Center and just tuck them away and let them work. And sip electricity! But this Zotac and windows form factor are a must and can prob replace my desktop. Damn it.. just added something to list for santa.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I was impressed enough to consider buying one, but winning one free is so much better!
Thanks Zotac
Love all the giveaways you guys do! Keep up the hard work. Cheers.
Would love to check it out
Yay! Free stuff!
Be nice to have one
Looks like a fun device.
Wow, it would be awesome to win!!!!
Seems nice for XBMC
That will look real nice on my desk. If you can add 2G RAM to it than it will be even better.
this one’s mine guys! stand back!
This looks like a decent little pc.
I am playing for residents of Boys and Girls Town, an orphanage nearby where I have foster parented.
Looks like a good media box option.
I like to win this is the best thing for me
For the win
Bay Trail has been a welcome surprise.
sign me up for the contest :-D.
It’s awesome to see these products coming to market.
When I saw this mentioned, I got really excited because I thought it was exactly like the concept box amd showed at CES, and that was claimed to have decent gaming ability. With Stream Home Streaming, it just might be a respectable doppelganger.
Looks like a fun little toy to play with. Sign me up!
Nice even if you can’t shrink a keyboard. 🙂
Sure, why not…
I’d like to try it out!
Pick me, ? Love you long time.
I would Really Like one of these for a living room media center pc
It amazes me how small PCs are getting these days
Pick me
This could be a fun little device.
Throwing my hat in, it looks like a great piece of hardware.
Thanks for doing this awesome giveaway! 😀
sounds like it would be fun to play with
Yo yo
I would love to play with this, Bay Trail has been looking pretty slick.
I’ll give it a try.
I would love to win this! Should do well to replace my full tower media center PC that takes up way too much space for its own good!
This seems like a nice little multifunctional box. If you got a portable battery pack, I wonder how hard it would be to hack it into a cheap laptop? I guess with the EeeBook x205 and others around $200 it’s not exactly the most economical option, but it’d be a fun experiment. I’d love to get a crack at it!
It would be quite easy. I’m doing it with a Brix machine and it works well. Obviously, it works allot better if you don’t need a screen, if you’re going to get a screen, you’ll probably do better with a Dell Venue Pro or something like that. If, however, you’re using braille/speech to access the machine, you’re in good shape. The same applies if you’re dealing with the machine remotely as a portable PBX or something.
Would love one. My relic PC runs Windows 95 and crashes all the time.
Please enter me. I’m disabled, but I pray for all!
Yaayyyy
Gl all
wow. what a compact PC. looks cool!
I still believe the PC is the best media device for the living room.
Entered for the giveaway, thanks!
Would love to see what this can do. Great competition
I’d love to win!
I would like try it out 🙂
lets put this box through the paces. 🙂
Nice!!!
All of that power AND no fan? Absolutely amazing. This would make an excellent HTPC.
I’d love to join!
Z3735F – 1.33 to 1.58 Ghz – but on the other hand it has 2GBs of RAM – should be enough for a nice functional portable PC
Sign me up for the giveaway.
Mine, all mine!
Would love to win this.
Hope I win
Into the fray!
Count me in
This is actually a really exciting little computer
Love your blog.
Pick me!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to see a comparison review between the Pico and ECS’s Liva. Throw me into the contest! I think the processor makes the Pico a better machine for its purpose.
Pico is the new Mini…
great lightweight backup for when the laptop on the mobile teaching cart goes down (one in ten times!)
Would love to have one!
Thanks for offering such a cool device to the public. I’d love the chance to enjoy using one of these. Thanks Zotac!

This is cool I’d love to try it!
Windows + Intel in a small media console, definitely interesting!
Good luck to me!
I love pocket sized PCs. Even when they end up tethered to a full size keyboard and monitor. Oh the irony!
That little guy seems just what I need right now. =)
i like it
seems like a neat little device.
Nice…love the form factor
Thanks for giveaway!~
Crud! I already ordered one Thursday night and it has shipped.
I would love to get this as a mini HTPC to replace my WDTV Live. The WDTV is still good for playing videos off USB but holy hell does it choke on Netflix. To think, in 1997, my 233MHz Pentium II MMX w/ 32MB of RAM and 6GB HDD was $2000. Knowing you could get a quad-core Ghz PC w/ gigs of RAM and 32GB of storage for $200 and fit in the palm of your hand would have BLOWN MY MIND.
Looks cool!
Oh little wonder! You shall definitely help me in my experiments and creations!
I’ve always been a huge fan of tiny PC’s and I’ve had my eye on this one.
What a great givaway.I personally tried a x86 windows tablet and they
pack a punch.I have a old old netbook with one of the first atom and
they just arent in the same league
This seems really cool, hope I win
Would make a great mini htpc running XBMC. Now let me have please.

Thanks for the review!
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Atom+Z3735F+%40+1.33GHz&id=2326
Thats a passmark of 913. I have had Windows 8.1 run on a Pentium 4 660 (usable for the purpose), which is a score of ~400.
I hope to discover that I like winning things… because I never have.
Yay giveaway
It would really tie the room together.
Windows 8, huh? Well at least if I win I can actually learn how to change all the settings on that half-baked OS. I’ve refused to load it on anything I own so far.
I’d love to be picked for this giveaway
Im here for the give away.
And the great reviews.
Thank you!
Pick me! 🙂 Long live Brad!
I’ve been a reader since you took over the blog. Love the articles and coverage of HTPC’s as well as mobile devices rocks. Thanks!

This is the first of these little boxes that has really caught my attention as being useful as a proper desktop on a daily basis. I’ll be interested to see if Zotac keeps up with these nifty boxes. Thanks for the giveaway!
This competition should be open to international liliputing fans as well… hell, if I win, I’ll pay for the postage to Australia! Count me in for an entry despite rule 1.

The Zotac ZBOX PI320 would be a nice addition to my collection of gadgets and gizmos. Thank you in advance for the win. 🙂

Yeah, this looks like it would be fun to play around with. Might even supercede my desktop, seeing as I don’t really use it for much.
Gimme! Please? I need to replace my Android TV stick and why not do it with this. Thanks for the contest and the chance at winning.
Good job both review and giveaway 😉
Amazing little device. Can think of several projects that it would be great for
Exactly what I’m looking for!
This looks like it could be fun to play with.

Count me in
Toss my name into the drawing also.
I’m really surprised with the power of this little fella
Keep up the good work Brad!
maybe fourth (or is it fifth) time is the charm?
Thanks
I’d love this to be able to edit the daily radio show I do for rense.com when I’m away from home.
Cool little device. Wouldn’t work as my main PC, but it might make a great media unit to complement my Apple TV. And if that fails, off to my wife’s classroom.
Would love one
Thanks for the giveaway!!
Thanks for all the info you provide daily and for the chance to win the giveaway.
Want it

No love for Canadians again 🙁
Please let me win this ZBox PI320.
I need to build a low power server that I can use to upload photos to when i am away photographing baseball tournaments. I would keep on copy on my laptop, one copy on an external hard drive and a third copy uploaded remotely to the ZBox which would be sitting in my home office.
Thanks
I would love one of these…
How well does this run linux?
Would love this… My living room htpc died and roku just can’t do what xbmc can.
I have a tablet with a non-functional touchscreen connected to my tv. Great media center. This would be equally great for that purpose
Could be really fun to play with, I’d love to try.
In it to win it!
YIPPPEEEEE!
Cool ! I like this one.

Cool giveaway.
This would be rather cool to receive.

Considering my Imito QX1 is dying, I would love to win this!

I’d love to have one.
Pick-me..I’m local. Thanks for the giveaway!!
Heidi-ho!
this one’s for me
Thank you
These little guys are a cool experiment. It would be soooo much more viable as an HTPC for us CableCard tuner users if MS hadn’t stripped Media Center out of Win8 and started charging $100 to get it back, though.
Ooooh… a Christmas present!
Awesome giveaway. Awesome site.
Thanks
I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue. But a Zotac ZBOX will due!
Lovely computer that I would buy even without a giveaway. I already have a Zotac and love it. This is a miniature version of that, I can’t wait to get my paws on this one.
Yes, please. I’d be very happy to win a tiny computer. I would hug it and pet it and squeeze it…
It’s amazing what $200 buys these days…
Balls? So many balls
Thanks for the giveaway.
This would make a great media center pc. I really enjoy your reviews of small computing devices.
Count me in!
Nifty Gizmo….
Thanks for the opportunity Brad.
Why do gorillas have big nostrils?
Because they have big fingers.
Zing…
I’ve been waiting for this to be released, so it would be super cool to win it! Thanks for the contest!
I’ve been looking at these devices as a way to play videos on my TV without having to worry whether the filetype is supported like I have to with other devices.
Want
Wow thank you!
Shut up and take my comment.
I’d really like to do some experimenting with these devices for content creation type stuff.
I’ll pay for expedited shipping after I win. — David
This is suuuper nice 😀 all the time this week i search a small unit to make a homeserver. my search started on raspberry pi and ended by the pico :3 this little pc can handle also a ts3 server, media server, …. 🙂 and power consumption is on rsbpi level (Y) Love this thing. My wish for xmas or the giveaway 😉
this is epic, the comments are going to blow up with this one
Yes please
This is interesting. I can use one to replace my aging Athlon 64 HTPC…
I’ve been following your review of this for the whole time. I can really use this as a fanless local server.
Love to have one.
Would love to make this in to a media client box. Count me in.
Definitely would love to win the contest. Either way I see myself owning one of these boxes sopn. A full windows 8 machine for that price just seems crazy, especially since its so tiny and fanless.
Would love to replace my older power sucking htpc. Thanks for the give away.
This would make a nice little media pc.
Install a copy of Kodi, and you’ve got a great media center pc.
Neat– and if there’s room for Linux on there, even better!
Would love to have this to use as a media center
Another great giveaway hosted by Liliputing blog, count me in!
Oh please memememememe!
Awesome
Thanks, count me in for the give away
Count with me! 🙂 Maybe I can run a few Steam games on it 🙂
I woulda said “trick or treat,” but at least one other reader beat me to it!
I visit this site several times a day. I would put the pico to good use.
Thanks! Check the site daily
You had me at ‘giveaway’.
Oh man this would be so fun to play with!
That thing is tiny… would be a good replacement for my aging WD TV Live (it seemed like a good purchase at the time, heh).
I haven’t had a chance to try one of the newer atom processors. The older atoms (which apparently incredibly slow, compared to the new ones) were still decent enough, given their thermal and power consumption levels. I’d love to try this little guy out.
Very cool little machine. It may not be super powerful compared to some others, but today’s hardware has so much processing capability already while sipping electricity. It’ll be great for always-on uses.
I can think of quite a few interesting things this would be handy for. Win or no, I need to get my hands on one of these.
Trick or Treat
Another fine giveaway you’ve gotten me into!
I’m still trying to figure out where they’re going with these devices. Wouldn’t mind one though 🙂
Not a big fan of windows, but count me in!!!
I want one
I’d love to test that out!
hi guys!
Yayooooo
Awesome !!
If I say ‘please’ does it increase my odds? Please! 🙂
Sounds very nice.
I’ll take 5
Please let it be me!!!!
Count me in! I would love to replace my laptop HTPC with this.
Looks pretty cool! If I were to get another winblows machine it would be something like this.
Nice!
This is the best offer yet. Thanks for the opportunity.
This would be awesome!
Not really sure it has enough CPU power to run Win 8.1. A lot of web sites render rather slow on my AMD A8 laptop. If I get it free, then really no complain.
I think that’s your laptop, bay trail runs windows 8 great, it doesn’t load most websites much slower than my i7 desktop. If your computer isn’t clogged with junk it doesn’t take much.
Me, too!
This I could use to replace a dying Dell as my media server!
Pico de Mine-o. I hope. Or. Pico de Michael’s. (Thats my name)
If you pick me, I win! I hope I win (So Please Pick Me!).
I am sure I could put this to good use.
I’d certainly love to take care of this gem!
This is exactly what I am looking for to work on a project for my office.
Thanks for the give away.
Happy Halloween!
This looks really neat and I’d love to win it.
Could be pretty sweet
Enjoy your reports/reviews.
Wohoo lets give it a shot.
Email: [email protected]
this would be awesome to mod and make into an all in one or something like that….oooh tiny steampunk mod woot!
Wow sign me up!
I would like to have one
Hoping for a win!
Wouldnt mind having a computer in my pocket all the time.
I love Zotac products. Would be a great replacement for my old ZBOX.

I jump in it.
This would be a great media PC
Cool little computer
Thanks for hosting the giveaway. This would be more versatile in the living room than a roku, chromecast, or fire tv.
Please add me to the contest. Thank you!
Bay Trail has really changed my viewpoint on mobile x86. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for it.
Can’t agree more, it’s done great things. It definitely made Windows RT obsolete
I would agree. The power of these low power devices is amazing.
Yeah, amazed at how well Windows run on Bay Trail. I guess we will see how long that remains the case, as I like to use my computers for 3+ years.
I’d like to try it as an iTunes server
