Lenovo recently unveiled its 3rd-generation Miix tablet with an 8 inch display. Now it looks like a new 10 inch model is on the way as well.

Neither model has been officially launched in the US or Europe yet, but the Lenovo Miix 3-1030 is starting to show up on Chinese websites.

The new tablet features a 10 inch, 1920 x 1200 pixel display, an intel Atom Z3735F quad-core Bay Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of storage.

While it has a slightly less powerful processor than the Miix 2 10 which launched earlier this year, it’ll also likely have a lower starting price. It also has a slightly higher-resolution display: the Miix 2 had a 1920 x 1080 pixel screen.

Lenovo also seems to have redesigned the keyboard case which lets you use this 10 inch tablet like a notebook. Instead of resting the tablet in a slot in the keyboard, there’s a case that can cover both sides of the tablet. You can open the case up and fold down a kickstand to use the tablet in notebook mode without removing it from the case. The kickstand also lets you adjust the angle of the display. The Miix 2 keyboard dock had a fixed position.

Other features include 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a 2MP front-facing camera, micro HDMI port, micro USB port, and full-sized USB port. The tablet has a 25 Wh battery.

  1. Someone make a tablet like this for $300. I am still waiting for those Lenovo yoga tablets with windows. It should be part of tomorrow’s announcement, right?

    1. Yes. Meanwhile Acer is now taking orders for the new Aspire Switch 11.6 1080p.

i3, 4gb RAM, 128gb SSD, keyboard for $650. I’m not sure about the 16:9 screen (spoiled by SP3’s 3:2); will have to check it out in person.

    2. Look at the HP pavilion x2 10″ that is coming out at the end of October, it looks nice and is $329
