The HP Pavilion x2 10 inch tablet is a Windows tablet with an Intel Atom Z3745 Bay Trail processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB to 64GB of storage.
It’s designed to be used either as a tablet or as a notebook thanks to detachable keyboard cover. And HP says the tablet gets nearly 12 hours of battery life.
Unfortunately while the Pavilion x2 10 is available for purchase or pre-order in some markets, it’s not actually available in the United States yet. (Update: see above)
HP Singapore is taking pre-orders for $499 (about $399 US). It’s available from HP Malaysia for RM 1199 (about $366). You can get one for $499 and up in Australia (that’s about $440 US). And in Italy, the tablet goes for €330, or about $417 US.
The tablet should be available in the States soon.
It features a 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display, 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, and stereo speakers. Like many small Windows tablets and notebooks, the HP Pavilion x2 10 inch tablet comes with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365.
HP also offers an optional active stylus for writing or drawing on the tablet.
