Hisense recently launched a low-cost 8 inch Android tablet in the United States, but the company also seems to have a few new 7 inch models on the way.

The Hisense Sero 7+ showed up at the FCC in July, and now it looks like there will be an even cheaper model called the Hisense Sero 7 LE, which was also revealed by an FCC listing.

Both tablets have 7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel displays, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. But the Plus model has a 1.2 GHz Rockchip RK3168 dual-core processor while the Sero 7 LE has a 1 GHz Rockchip RK3926 dual-core processor.

Other features include 802.11n WiFi, a microSD card slot, a 0.3MP camera, a single speaker, and a 300mAh battery.

The tablet measures 7.5″ x 4.3″ x 0.4″ and weighs about 12 ounces.

  1. I very nearly went for one of their old 7-inchers, but that had a Nexus-like 1280×800 display. These? No chance.

  2. Well cheap tablets have their place too! I think any kid could use them as starter tablet!
