The Asus MeMO Pad 7 ME176 is a 7 inch Android 4.4 tablet with an Intel Z3745 Bay Trail processor and a list price of $149, which makes it one of the cheapest Android tablets that’s actually worth buying.

Today it’s a bit cheaper… Amazon is selling the ME176 for just $125.

  1. Refurb Asus Transformer Pad TF300 Android tablet w/Tegra 3 for $110 – A4C
    SOLD OUT

  2. I had gpu issues with my last Intel tablet… returned it within a week. The most important part of owning an Intel android tablet is to disable all app updates. I paid $50 more and got another Nexus 7. I like my drama on TV, not on my tablet. Intel powered chromebox/chromebook is completely different… they totally rock.

    1. Mind, most of the Intel Android devices aren’t using Intel GPUs but Imagination PowerVR GPU… The Bay Trail Android tablets are the first all Intel tablets and not a mix…

  3. I would venture that there are some perfectly usable tablets at that price point.
This tablet is far from alone in usability at this price point.

    1. Not really, many are still releasing models with two to three gen behind current latest release based SoCs and/or similar low end configurations… Like the lower performing and less power efficient Tegra 3…

So, for the money, this is one of the few that give you upper mid-range performance for pretty low end pricing…
