Google’s $35 Chromecast continues to be one of the cheapest, simplest devices for streaming internet video to a TV. When the Chromecast first launched in the summer of 2013, it only supported video from a handful of sources.

These days it supports hundreds of apps and services, and you can even use it to stream content straight from your Android phone or tablet rather than from an online video service.

Now Google has announced support for several new music and video services, including iHeartRadio, Twitch, and Watch Disney.

Twitch lets you tune in and watch people play video games and provide real-time commentary. While that might not sound appealing to some folks, there’s a huge community of users. Twitch has 60 million registered users and Amazon recently spent $1 billion to acquire Twitch.

The Watch Disney, Watch Disney Junior, and Watch Disney XD apps also all support Chromecast streaming… but you’ll need to have access to Disney content from your TV provider in order to use those apps.

You can also now stream thousands of Korean TV episodes and movies from DramaFever, and tune into over 1,500 live radio stations with the iHeartRadio app.

Update: Sling Media has also added Chromecast support to its SlingPlayer apps for Android and iOS. That means if you have a recent Slingbox at home you can now stream live or recorded TV over the internet… to another TV.
