Lenovo may be preparing to expand its line of ThinkPad Yoga 2-in-1 notebooks with new models featuring larger displays.
At least that seems like the obvious conclusion you can draw from a series of names listed on a Lenovo support page.
Lenovo’s Yoga notebooks feature touchscreen displays and special hinges that let you fold the display back 360 degrees until it’s back-to-back with the keyboard. This lets you turn the notebook into a tablet.
Right now the company sells a couple of Yoga models as part of its business-friendly ThinkPad family. There’s the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga with a 12.5 inch display and an Intel Haswell processor and the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e with an 11.5 inch screen and a Bay Trail CPU.
According to a Maxthon driver download page at Lenovo.com, systems that support the software include:
- Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e
- Lenovo ThinksPad S1 Yoga 12
- Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga
- Lenovo ThinkPad S3 Yoga 14
- Lenovo ThinkPad S5 Yoga 15
The first model seems to be one of the versions that’s already available, and it’s possible that the S1 Yoga or S1 Yoga 12 could be the device that’s currently just called the ThinkPad Yoga.
But the company has yet to announce models with 14 or 15 inch displays, so either the company has a few new models in the works… or someone in charge of the support page made a particularly strange typo.

When they can get the thinkpad yoga 12.5 or 13 down to under 3lbs I’d consider buying (with active digitizer). It is too heavy at the moment.
