Lenovo’s new Chromebooks aren’t the company’s only cheap new laptops. There’s also a new 11.6 inch Windows laptop called the Lenovo IdeaPad S20-30.
The only catch? It’s not yet available in the United States.
Mobile Geeks spotted several retail listings for the Lenovo IdeaPad S20-30, which sells for 269 Euros, or about $365 US (although it’s possible the notebook could be cheaper if and when it hits the States).
Lenovo’s Japanese website also has more details about the laptop.
The laptop features an 11.6 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel anti-glare display, an Intel Celeron N2830 dual-core Bay Trail processor, 4GB of RAM, and either a 320GB or 500GB hard drive.
Lenovo’s new low-cost Windows laptop also features 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and HDMI output. It runs Windows 8.1 64-bit.
The notebook measures 11.8″ x 8.1″ x 0.8″ and weighs 2.9 pounds. It’s powered by a 24Whr battery.
It looks like there could also be models with optional touchscreen displays, 32GB of solid state storage, and faster processors including the Celeron N2930 or Pentium N3530 which are both still low-power Bay Trail processors.
Should one buy this
Also, will launch in Japan ?

Ooh, nice find!
It would be nice if they offered a reasonable price for a SSD upgrade, to help boost performance.
EDIT: NM, I see the 32gb option, but low storage for a Windows Laptop.
