Samsung’s new Android tablets with Super AMOLED displays will be available in the US starting June 27th, just about two weeks after the company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

The tablets will be available from retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Sears as well as from Samsung.com. They’re already available for pre-order from some stores.

The Sasmung Galaxy Tab S comes in two models. There’s an 8.4 inch version that measures just 0.26 inches thick and weighs 10.4 ounces and a 10.5 inch model that’s 1.1 pounds and a bit thicker.

Samsung charges $399 and up for the smaller model and $499 and up for the bigger tablet. But aside from price and size, they’re basically the same machines.

Both models feature 2560 x 1600 pixel AMOLED displays, 802.11ac WiFi, 3GB of RAM, 16GB to 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. They have 8MP rear cameras, 2.1MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth. GPS, and IR ports.

Samsung will offer some models with an Exynos 5 octa-core chip and others with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.

WiFi-only models will be available at launch. Later this year Samsung’s expected to introduce versions with support for 4G LTE networks.
