The Oppo Find 7 is a smartphone with a 5.5 inch, 2560 x 1440 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, as well as a microSD card slot for up to 128GB of additional storage.

First announced in March, the phone is now available for pre-order in the US for $599.

Oppo has been offering a similar model called the Find 7a in the US and around the globe for a few months. That model has a 1080p screen, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.

While those features are nothing to sneeze at, the Find 7 has one of the fastest mobile processors available and one of the highest-resolution screens… although WQHD smartphone displays are becoming increasingly common.

The Find 7 has 538 pixels per inch on its 5.5 inch LTPS display.

Other features include 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, WiFi Display supports, and support for GSM/HSPA+ networks. The phone runs android 4.3 Jelly Bean software.

  1. No, $ 299 is the new black will never pay much more than that for an unlocked contract free smart phone…bring on the Nexus 6 & Nexus 8 tablet and updated versions of android!

    1. I’d have to agree. Unless these no-name phone manufacturers are offering OS updates for a reasonable time period after release (like the Nexus models), then why spend ~ $600 on a device that ends up leaving you abandoned? Saying that, the specs on this phone seem amazing. If I was guaranteed some OS updates, I’d be tempted to want to buy this phone.
