Small form-factor PC maker Giada has introduced a new compact desktop computer with an Intel Celeron J1900 quad-core Bay Trail processor and a case that measures just 7.5″ x 6.1″ x 1″. The Giada I39 is a desktop that’s thinner than many laptop computers.
The system has 2GB of RAM, a 500GB, 2.5 inch hard drive, and support for an mSATAsolid state drive.
It has VGA and HDMI ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 4 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 port, audio jacks, a memory card reader, and an IR port for use with an optional infrared remote control.
The system can support Windows or Linux, but if and when it goes on sale it’ll probably ship without an operating system, like most Giada systems.
A Giada I39b model with a COM port and support for more configuration options is also on the way for the enterprise market.
