The Asus Zenbook NX500 is a notebook with 15.6 inch, 3840 x 2106 pixel Ultra HD display. First spotted in March, Asus has officially introduced the notebook which features an Intel Core i7 Hawell processor, NVIDIA graphics, and the company’s sleek Zenbook design.
While the Zenbook NX500 is only about 0.75 inches thick, it’s not quite as light as other members of the Zenbook family: It’s expected to weigh about 5.3 pounds.
The Asus Zenbook NX500 features a Core i7-4702HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850 graphics, and an IPS display with support for 10-point touch input.
It supports 802.11ac WiFi, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and supports fast storage devices with SATA 3 RAID 0 or PCIe x4 SSD storage. The notebook also features SonicMaster speakers with Bang & Olufsen technology.
Other specs include Bluetooth 4.0, 3 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and mini DisplayPort, a headset jack, and an SD card reader. The Asus Zenbook NX500 features a 96Whr battery, which helps explain why it’s so heavy — the battery’s about twice the size of what you get in a typical ultrabook these days. But the high resolution screen and NVIDIA graphics are likely battery hogs, so that big battery should help provide decent battery life.

This will be an amazing notebook! A macbook pro retina killer. Graphics will be GTX 850, not “GTXC850 graphics”
