As expected, Toshiba is launching a new line of Satellite Click 2-in-1 tablets. Like last year’s model, the new Toshiba Satellite Click 2 is a 13 inch tablet which becomes a notebook when you attach a keyboard dock. But instead of an AMD chip, the new model is powered by an Intel Pentium quad-core CPU.

Need something more powerful? Toshiba is also introducing the Click 2 Pro with an Intel Haswell processor and other premium specs.

The Satellite Click 2 will be available from Best Buy and Toshiba.com in June for $587, while the Click 2 Pro will sell for $1029 and up.

The cheaper model features a 13.3 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel display, 802.11ac WiFi, and a fanless design thanks to its low-power Pentium chip, which is most likely a Bay Trail processor. It has 4GB of RAM.

With the keyboard attached, the Satellite Click 2 measures 0.9 inches thick making it relatively slim for a laptop. The tablet, on the other hand, is kind of chunky. It measures 0.55 inches thick and weighs 2.81 pounds. Add the keyboard dock and the laptop weighs 4.84 pounds.

Toshiba’s Satellite Click 2 Pro has a 13.3 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, measures 0.78 inches thick, and features an Intel Core processor with support for Intel WiDi wireless display technology.

The Pro model has other premium features including an aluminum case, backlit keyboard and Harman Kardon speakers in the keyboard base. There are also two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port in the keyboard.

This model is thinner and lighter than the standard Click 2, and it’s a lot more powerful. The tablet measures 0.43 inches thick and weighs 2.31 pounds. Add the keyboard and the system is 0.78 inches thick and 4.5 pounds.

It features up to 8GB Of RAM, an Intel Core i5 or Core i7 Haswell processor, and a 128GB solid state drive. If you need more storage, the company will offer a model that has a 500GB hard drive in the keyboard section. That version will sell for $1280.
