Amazon has rolled out an update to its Android apps that allows you to login to every Amazon app on your phone or tablet at once using a Single Sign On feature.
Just download the Amazon app and login to your account, and you’ll be signed into your account for other apps including the Amazon Appstore, Kindle, or Amazon MP3 apps.
At the same time, if you sign out of the Amazon app, you’ll be signed out of those other apps… but the good new is that if you have more than one Amazon account, you can still login to your apps manually. So if you have one account for Amazon purchases and a different account for Amazon MP3 digital music, just choose the “use a different account for this app” option in the Amazon MP3 app.
Single Sign On should work with most devices running Android 2.3 or later. The feature’s been available to Amazon Kindle Fire tablet owners for weeks.
