Gigabyte’s latest BRIX mini-desktop computer is one of the least powerful models to date. I mean that literally — the system features an Intel Celeron N2807 dual-core processor with a TDP of just 4.3 watts.
But thanks to the Intel HD graphics, support for burst speeds up to 2.17 GHz, and built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, this little computer could make a decent low-power media center or desktop computer for light usage.
The Gigabyte BRIX GB-BXBT-2807 measures about 4.5″ x 4.2″ x 2.2″ and features 1 USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and Ethernet jacks, a half-sized mini PCIe slot, a 2.5 inch drive bay, and a single DDR3L SODIMM slot.
Gigabyte will likely sell the computer as a barebones system, which means you’ll have to supply your own memory, storage and operating system. But the mini PCIe card slot is used by an 802.11n + Bluetooth 4.0 card that comes with computer.
It’s worth noting that Gigabyte says the system supports up to 8GB of RAM, but Intel says the N2807 chip only supports up to 4GB.

Availability and pricing are not known at this point.
Brad, You can’t keep making a living like this. Copy and paste of a press release is not anything that deserves a by-line.
How much is it? What is the answer regarding the memory limit? come on; you can do better than this?
Fanless?
Where is the price? How much?
It seems like a great little computer if one is doing light office work. I like not having to pay for software that I will not use and get to chose which operating system to install (not be stuck with Windows).
