Redbox Instant is the latest online video service to add support for Google’s Chromecast. The online movie streaming service has updated its Android app, allowing users to use their phone or table to find videos and then beam them to a TV with Google’s $35 streaming stick.

Redbox Instant is a partnership between Redbox (the company that puts DVD and Blu-ray vending machines in supermarkets and other stores) and Verizon.

A subscription runs $8 per month, but new customers can sign up for a 1-month free trial for unlimited streaming. The trial also includes a credit good for 4 DVD rentals from Redbox kiosks.

Redbox Instant joins a growing list of online video sites that support Chromecast, including Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, HBO Go, and more. But there are still a handful of top sites including Amazon Instant Video that are available on competing products such as the Amazon Fire TV, and Roku but which aren’t yet available for Chromecast.
