The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is an Android tablet with a full HD display, a built-in kickstand, and crazy long battery life: Lenovo says you should be able to get up to 18 hours on a charge.
First unveiled in February, the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ is now available for order for $369. It’s expected to ship in mid-May.
Lenovo’s new tablet features a 10 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It features 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The tablet has stereo front-facing speakers, an 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front-facing camera.
Lenovo says an Android 4.4 KitKat software update will be available soon, but at launch the tablet ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The extra-long battery life comes from a combination of the energy efficient processor and a rather large battery. The Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ sports a 9000mAh battery.
Like other members of the Lenovo Yoga tablet line of Android tablets, the Yoga 10 HD+ is thicker at one end than the other, letting you hold the tablet a bit like a magazine with the pages flipped over.
The chunky end houses the battery and also balances the tablet’s weight so that you can flip down a small kickstand and prop up the tablet on a desk or table to watch videos or perform other tasks without worrying that the Yoga 10 HD+ will fall over.
The tablet measures 10.3″ x 0.4″ x 7.1″ and weighs about 1.4 pounds.
Accessories for the tablet include detachable keyboard covers and a tablet sleeve.

Sounds like an interesting tablet. At least the battery life is really promising.
Btw, my Sammy Chromebook 1 usually lasts the whole day with Ubuntu, even with the more limited, 6.5-hour battery.
That is fulfilling ARM’s long time promise of ‘all day’ battery life. Finally.
Now if somebody would put a Linux distro on it. (Note for nitpickers: Linux as in the whole stack normally associated with the Linux kernel. I know Android is a mutant Linux distro, but really isn’t very useful for someone wanting a GNU/UNIX/X environment.) I’d even take a tabletety one like Ubuntu… but not GNOME3.
I’d like to buy it but I live in France and it seems that lenovo us store only delivers in us, any idea how to get it back in Europe?
