Samsung’s next entry-level 10 inch tablet may be coming soon. Hot on the heels of leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, @evleaks has posted images of the upcoming Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in black and white.
While Samsung has yet to officially introduce the new Tab 4 line of tablets, the company seems to be taking a multi-pronged approach to the tablet space these days. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro line of devices feature high-end specs (and prices), while the Galaxy Tab lineup offers more modest features at more affordable prices.
Leaked benchmarks suggest the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 could feature a 1280 x 800 pixel display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 graphics, 16GB of storage, a 3MP rear camera, and 1.3MP front-facing camera.
The picture suggests it’ll look a lot like the Galaxy Tab 3 model it will replace, while Samsung appears to be swapping out the Intel Atom processor found in last year’s model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.
There’s no word on the price or release date yet… but it’s probably safe to assume the tablet will be cheaper than the $449 Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 which has a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa-Core CPU and a 2560 x 1600 pixel display.
1280×800, really? I hope this is not more than $250.
It should have been 1920×1200 ideally and $300.
