Asus appears to be prepping two new 2-in-1 tablets. The Asus Transformer Pad TF103 and TF303 showed up recently at the website for design firm red dot 21, along with a (very) brief product description.

These new tablets are said to be “renovated from last generation,” which suggests that they’re updates to the Asus Transformer Pad Android tablet family.

Asus tends to reserve the Transformer Pad name for its Android tablets, while the company’s Windows models are called Transformer Books.

So what’s new in the latest models? There aren’t a lot of details at this point, but both tablets feature keyboard docking stations and a “pebble shaped curve” which means the edges of the tablets and docking stations are a bit rounded.

The tablets have front-facing speakers and a new “hidden hinge” design that lets you detach the tablet from the keyboard with one finger.

There’s no word on the processor screen resolution, price or launch date.
