Zotac launched its first small form-factor desktop computers featuring Intel Haswell processors a few months ago. Now the company has a few new models, featuring more powerful chips with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200.
The company is showing off the Zotac ZBOX EI730 and EI750 at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Shows.
The ZBOX EI730 features a 2.7 GHz Core i5-4570R quad-core processor, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 USB 3.0 ports and room for a 2.5 inch drive and/or an mSATA solid state drive.
There’s also a Gigabit Ethernet jack, a 4-in-1 card reader, 2 DisplayPorts and a DVI port. The system has two memory slots and supports up to 16GB of RAM.
Zotac will offer a Plus model that comes with 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, but the basic version will ship as a barebones system. Neither model features an operating system. You’ll have to install that yourself.
The ZBOX EI750 is basically the same device, but with a 3.2 Ghz Core i7-4770R processor.
